Terms of service
Last updated 2026
1. What SmileQuick is
SmileQuick is an online directory that helps patients find UK dental practices. These terms are between you and SmileQuick, the seller and operator of the service. By using SmileQuick you agree to these terms. We are not a dental provider. Any appointment booked through SmileQuick is between you and the practice; SmileQuick is not a party to the treatment contract and does not provide clinical advice.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or over to create an account, provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Practice listings
Practices are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, treatments and prices. Prices shown are indicative and may be subject to a clinical assessment.
4. Booking requests
Submitting a slot request through SmileQuick is a request, not a confirmed appointment. The practice will confirm by email or phone.
5. Payments and subscriptions
Practice listings on SmileQuick are sold as paid subscriptions (monthly or annual). Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By purchasing a subscription you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, which cover payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics. Refund requests are handled under our refund policy.
6. Intellectual property
SmileQuick owns all rights in the service, including the software, design, branding and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your plan. You must not copy, resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the service. Practices retain ownership of the content they submit and grant us a limited licence to host and display it to provide the service.
7. Acceptable use
Don't post false, misleading or unlawful content, don't use the service for fraud or spam, don't infringe others' intellectual property, don't scrape the directory, and don't attempt to probe, disrupt or introduce malware into the service.
8. Service level
We work hard to keep SmileQuick available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time; on termination your listing is removed and associated data is handled under our privacy policy.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SmileQuick is not liable for the acts, omissions or treatment outcomes of any listed practice, nor for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
